The brand, founded in 1951 by Remo Basile as tailoring, counted among its workers some of the biggest names in the Made in Italy fashion industry as Soprani and Versace. In the 70's Remo's son Gianfranco transformed the activity into an industry for a total look strict yet stylish and obviously not forgetting the traditional tailoring. The success of Basile came to light during the 80's when the brand went international. The vintage glasses that we propose at bafile128 refer to the strict mood and stylishness of Basile, in contrast to the inspirations of the period of which tended to emphasize that even in a heavy logo. Designer of the collection was the legendary founder of Vogue Paolo Seminara.
